2. Who paid for Salpa-line fortifications and all the new pieces of artillery 1940-1941?
Our army was almost gone on March 1940, when the Winter war ended. Ammunitions were gone, except bullets for rifles. We had used more money than the national GNP in three months.
On June 1941 we had one of the best armies in Europe. How was it possible?
